Tony Miller
Tony Miller is a member of the firm Troppito + Miller, LLC where he practices in the areas of plaintiff's personal injury, criminal defense, and claimant's workers' compensation. He is currently on the panel of attorneys selected by the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri to represent criminal defendants under the authority of the Criminal Justice Act.
Tony received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Baker University in 1998 where he played football. He graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law and became licensed to practice in Missouri in 2001. He became licensed in Kansas in 2002.
In 2001, Tony served as an Assistant Prosecutor before the City of Kansas City, Missouri Municipal Court. He was then selected to be the law clerk to The Honorable Marco A. Roldan of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit of the State of Missouri. In 2003, Tony served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Prosecutor's Office of Jackson County, Missouri. Prior to starting his firm, Tony worked as an associate at the Kansas City firm of Yonke & Pottenger, LLC.
In 2009, Tony was appointed by Jackson County Executive Michael Sanders to serve on the Jackson County Drug Commission as a representative member from the legal profession. He is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and the Committee for County Progress. Tony is married to Bethany Miller, an attorney with his firm, and lives in Kansas City, Missouri.
