Heidi Doerhoff Vollet
Heidi is a partner at Cook, Vetter, Doerhoff & Landwehr, P.C. in Jefferson City, where she handles a variety of civil and appellate matters. She received a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1996 and her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2000. She clerked for the Honorable John R. Gibson, U.S. Judge for the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, from 2000 to 2001, and for the Honorable William H. Rehnquist, Chief Justice of the United States, during the October 2001 term of the United States Supreme Court. She practiced in Washington, D.C. from 2002 until 2005 as an associate with Covington & Burling and then returned to her home town of Jefferson City to work for the Attorney General's Office as Counsel to the Chief Deputy from 2005 until January 2009. She has served on the YLS Council since 2005. While on the Council, Heidi has chaired the Newsletter Committee and the Giving Tree Committee, among other things. She is active on the Delivery of Legal Services Committee and is a supporter of pro bono service.
