Whitney E. Deacon

Whitney served on the Missouri Bar Young Lawyer Section for two terms as the eleventh district representative. Recently, she moved to Kansas City and joined the firm of Baker, Sterchi, Cowden & Rice where her practice focuses on products' liability. Whitney received her degree in business economics from the University of Arkansas and her JD from the University of Missouri Columbia School of Law.  Since graduating, Whitney has been active in both alumni associations. She served as the alumna advisor to Tri-Delta sorority for three years. Additionally, she volunteered to judge high-school mock trial competitions and is a volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters and Boys and Girls Town. She is a member of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, American Bar Association, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
