Jon M. Baris

Jon has been a member of the YLS Council since 2002.  Jon is the Assistant Director of the Career Services Office at Saint Louis University School of Law.  Prior to joining the law school, Jon was an attorney at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, and an associate at the Baris Law Firm in St. Louis.  Jon has served on the Executive Committee of BAMSL's Young Lawyers Division since 2001, chaired several committees, and served as BAMSL YLD Chairperson for the 2005-2006 bar year.  Jon is also currently serving as a Member at Large on the BAMSL Board of Governors.   Jon is also a member of the Alumni Executive Committee of Washington University School of Law.  Jon received his B.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1993, and his J.D. from Washington University in 1996.  Jon is married to Melissa, an attorney at Husch & Eppenberger in St. Louis, and has a son, Daniel, born in December 2003.
