    COMMITTEE SCOPE

    The Elder Law Committee shall:
    1. Provide a forum for education, shared expertise, professional development and networking opportunities for practitioners in Elder Law.
    2. Review, edit and/or draft proposed legislation affecting Elder Law.
    3. Provide educational programs and materials for the improvement and education of practitioners in the area of Elder Law.
    4. Provide information which may include resources and materials for the general public to educate and create a better informed citizenry regarding Elder Law.
    5. Improve relationships among practitioners in the area of Elder Law.
    6. Maintain and improve relationships among practitioners, governmental agencies, judges and court personnel involved in the practice of Elder Law.
    7. Support the mission, vision, and goals of The Missouri Bar.
