Gov. Nixon Signs Bar-Drafted Legislation into Law
Gov. Jay Nixon this week signed into law two Bar-drafted measures passed during the 2012 legislative session.
- SB 636 – an omnibus judiciary bill that included the Probate and Trust Law Committee drafted measure related to qualified spousal trusts.
- HCS HB 1527 – a bill drafted by the Commercial Law Committee clarifying provisions related to property exempt from attachment and raises the age of an unmarried dependent from 18 to 21 for head of household exemption.
