Create Uniform Icons

If you've recently added multiple programs to your computer, and each of these programs has added a shortcut icon to your desktop, your once tidy-looking desktop could be in need of a little straightening. Follow this simple procedure to display your desktop icons neatly by name.

On your desktop, right-click and choose Arrange Icons By Name from the shortcut menu. The desktop icons from your software that were once all over your desktop now snap to a neatly ordered line on the left side of your screen in alphabetical order.
