2013 Law Day Art Contest
Realizing the Dream: Equality for All

Sponsored by The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers' Section

Nearly 300 Missouri elementary school students participated in the first annual Law Day Art Contest sponsored by The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section. The theme for Law Day 2013 (May 1) was “Realizing the Dream: Equality for All” in celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation and the 50th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech. The art contest had two divisions: Kindergarten-Grade 2 and Grades 3-5. All mediums of art were accepted and the winners were announced May 13, 2013.

Thank you to all the educators, parents and others who enabled their students to participate and congratulations to the winners in each category!  Click on each picture for a larger image!
