Note from the Chair, Julia D. Kitsmiller

Julia Kitsmiller, Committee ChairWelcome to the first edition of the Missouri Bar Labor & Employment Law Committee’s newsletter! I am thrilled that our committee will be providing this newsletter to our members on a semiannual basis. We are very interested in keeping our members informed about recent developments and verdicts in employment and labor law as well as providing articles about substantive areas of the law and practice tips. If there is anything in particular that you would like to see in our newsletter or if you are interested in writing an article, please do not hesitate to contact AdoLisa Anarado, who is the editor of our newsletter.

Also, I hope to see everyone at our annual Labor & Employment Symposium, which will take place on November 8, 2013, at the Hampton Inn in Columbia, Missouri. Our symposium is always a fantastic opportunity to learn more about our practice areas, hear from fantastic speakers, and connect with fellow labor and employment practitioners. I look forward to seeing you there.

(As of the Annual Meeting, new chairs have been appointed.  Brian Christensen is the new chair for the Labor and Employment Law Committee.  Thank you to Julia for her leadership.)
