KCLSA Names Former Missouri Bar President John Johnston “Boss of the Year”

KCLSA…the association for legal professionals held its Annual Bosses’ Appreciation Night on October 10, 2012, at the Grand Street Café in Kansas City, Missouri.  The evening celebrated two events:  The Annual Bosses’ Appreciation Night and the fact that KCLSA is celebrating 60 years of service to the legal community in 2012.

Approximately 75 members of the legal community were present for the evening.  Of those in attendance were ten Past Presidents, nine KCLSA Life Members and three Honorary Members.

KCLSA presented its Friendship Award to Rik Siro, who accepted on behalf of the law firm of Siro Smith Dickson PC.  This is only the fourth such award to be presented.  Individual award winners were as follows:

Boss of the Year:                    John Johnston, Esq.
Outstanding New Member:   Cheryl Naylor

The name of the Award of Excellence winner cannot be divulged at this time as she will be entered in the state competition where a winner will be announced at the NALS of Missouri Annual Meeting in May 2013.
