ESQ. CalendarGovernor Appoints Five New Associate Circuit Judges
Gov. Jay Nixon earlier this week appointed associate circuit judges in five Missouri counties. The new judges include a prosecutor, a former prosecutor, a public defender, a private attorney and an assistant attorney general.

The new judges are:

Richard Scheibe, Warren County
Kenneth G. Clayton, Phelps County
Meryl L. Lange, Cass County
James A. Hackett, Hickory County
Elizabeth A. Bock, Douglas County

Chief Justice TeitelmanChief Justice’s State of the Judiciary Set for January 23
Supreme Court of Missouri Chief Justice Richard B. Teitelman will deliver his 2013 State of the Judiciary address to a joint session of the Missouri General Assembly on Wednesday, January 23. Judge Teitelman completes his two-year term as chief justice on July 1.

Governor NixonGovernor’s Inauguration Set for January 14
State of Missouri offices in Cole County will be closed on Inauguration Day because of the activities scheduled in Jefferson City around the Capitol. (More)

Commission Releases Demographics, Interview Date for Atwell Vacancy
