Commission Selects Nominees for Jackson County Circuit Judge Vacancy
The Sixteenth Circuit Judicial Commission yesterday selected its panel of three nominees for the current circuit judge vacancy in Division 10 of the Jackson County Circuit Court. Twenty-one applicants were interviewed for the vacancy, which was created by the retirement of Judge Charles Atwell. The nominees are:

IRS Plans January 30 Tax Season Opening For 1040 Filers
The IRS announced the 2013 filing season will begin, for the vast majority of tax filers, on January 30. The agency needed some extra time to update forms, complete programming and test its processing systems following the tax changes approved by Congress on January 1. (More)

Applications Due by End of Day for Associate Circuit Judge Vacancy
The 22nd Circuit Judicial Commission will accept applications and questionnaires for the associate circuit vacancy in the St. Louis Circuit Court until 5 p.m. today. (More)

Eastern District Appellate Court to Hold Docket in Hannibal
The Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District will hold court at Hannibal-LaGrange University on January 15, hearing oral arguments in cases appealed from the Audrain County Circuit Court, the City of St. Louis Circuit Court and the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission. (More)
