Recognizing Outstanding Leadership and Dedication to MoBarCLE

Through his numerous presentations at MoBarCLE seminars, Bruce Kirby has provided Missouri attorneys with outstanding continuing legal education in the area of Social Security Disability law.

Mr. Kirby received his B.S. degree in Government in 1971 from Beliot College and his J.D. in 1974 from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, the American Trial Attorneys and National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. He is a partner in the firm of Schmidt, Kirby & Sullivan, P.C., in Springfield.

Along with being a perennial speaker on the Social Security Update program, Mr. Kirby has served on the faculty of the Eighth Circuit Advanced Social Security Disability Conference and Cross-Examination of Social Security Experts.
