David KennerThrough his numerous presentations at MoBarCLE seminars, David V. Kenner has provided Missouri attorneys with outstanding continuing legal education on numerous topics, particularly in the area of real property law.

Mr. Kenner earned his B.A. from the University of Kansas and J.D. from Columbia University. He is a shareholder with the Levy Craig Law Firm in Kansas City, with a practice focused on banking, commercial real estate, corporate law, and business and commercial transactions. Mr. Kenner is active with the American Bar Association, The Missouri Bar, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, serving in leadership roles and on numerous committees within these organizations.  Additionally, he is a past president of several other professional groups, including the Workout Professionals Association, the Commercial Brokers Association, and the Committee for County Progress, and has served as a board member and attorney for the Kansas City, Missouri Board of Police Commissioners.

For more than a decade, Mr. Kenner has annually presented at numerous MoBarCLE programs, including the Annual Law Update, Stepping Up & Stepping Out: The New Lawyer Experience, and the Annual Real Estate Institute, as well as other business and commercial law programs. He has contributed as an author and reviewer for a number of Missouri Bar deskbooks. These publications include: Missouri Real Estate Fundamentals, Acquisition, Title, Interest and Conveyancing; Real Estate Practice, Fifth Edition, and Fourth Edition (2006 and 2002 Supplements); Missouri Commercial Law; Missouri Farm Law; Missouri Specialized Business Entities; Missouri Secured Transactions; Missouri Corporate Organization and Operation; and Missouri Civil Actions, Second Edition. Mr. Kenner is also a contributing author to Uniform Commercial Code Article 9 Forms Handbook (ABA 2001); The Missouri Partnership and Corporate Forms Handbook – 6th Edition (UMKC 2000); Lender Liability Law and Litigation (Matthew Bender 1996-2005); and Revising the Uniform Commercial Code, Articles 8 and 9, Mo. Bank. Affairs 12 (Oct. 5, 1995).
