Recognizing Outstanding Leadership and Dedication to MoBarCLE

Through his numerous presentations for MoBarCLE, Jack T. Bangert, has provided Missouri Lawyers continuing legal education in litigation and trial practice skills for over a dozen year.  He has served on the faculty of The Missouri Bar Trial Institute, the Advanced Trial College, Ethics in Personal Injury, Ethics in Litigation, and the Solo & Small Firm Conference.  Mr. Bangert handles commercial and civil cases involving business disputes and serious personal injury or death.  He has expanded his litigation services to include mediations.  He serves as Of Counsel in the Kansas City office of Kutak Rock, LLP.

Mr. Bangert is an adjunct professor of Trial Advocacy at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law.  He has taught for the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers Trial Academy, the Missouri Judicial Trial College, and the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy.

In addition to several other organizations, Mr. Bangert is a past president of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, Legal Aid of Western Missouri, and Board of Trustees of the Law Foundation of the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Mr. Bangert has been named to the Best of the Bar in litigation by the Kansas City Business Journal.  He has also been named a Top 100 Super Lawyer for Missouri and Kansas in litigation.  His acknowledgments have included, among others, the Inaugural Legal Leader of the Year Award by the Daily Record, the Ben Ely, Jr. Outstanding Defense Lawyer for Missouri, and the Alumni Achievement Award in Law from Westminster College.
