Ms. Patricia “Tricia” M. Scaglia, received her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-
Kansas City. Ms. Scaglia received a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She served as law clerk to the late Honorable Kelly J. Moorhouse, Sixteenth Judicial Circuit of Missouri and to the Honorable Robert E. Larsen, United States District Court Western District of Missouri. Ms. Scaglia practices primarily in the area of Family Law, frequently serving as a Guardian Ad Litem and mediator. Ms. Scaglia also handles family law appeals.
She has appeared before the Western District of Missouri and Eastern District of Missouri. Ms. Scaglia serves on the Missouri Supreme Court Committee for Access to Family Courts. She is the President of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) Family and the Law Section, Past Chair of the KCMBA Family Law Committee. She is a member of the Jackson County Circuit Court Family Court Committee. Ms. Scaglia is active in The Missouri Bar Family Law Section Council serving as Vice-Chair of the Executive Council; Chair, Continuing Legal Education; and Chair, Family Law Conference Planning Committee. Ms. Scaglia serves as a Board Member for the Association of Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City and received the 2010 President’s Award. She is the 2008 recipient of the KCMBA President’s Award for her work as Chair of the KCMBA Family Law Committee. She has been honored by the Kansas City Business Journal as Best of the Bar for 2009 and 2010. Ms. Scaglia is a life-long resident of Kansas City, Missouri. She is licensed in Missouri and Kansas.
