Division Level within Missouri Bar Committee Structure

Divisions are comprised of existing and new committees and sections related by practice area. Divisions are expected to provide a broader, global level of coordination among the committees/sections assigned within a division, including coordinating intra-division committee interaction, focusing objectives, facilitating communication, establishing more familiar firm-like lines of authority for committees/sections, overseeing activities among division committees/sections as well as evaluating ongoing viability/need for committee/sections within the practice area.

Each Division will have a chair appointed by the President of The Missouri Bar for two-year terms. Within the Division, the chairs will elect two co-chairs to provide leadership of the Division level. Each Division has its own scope.
