Committees
The Missouri Bar comprises more than 60 committees and sections, each devoted to a particular area of the law or of law practice. In addition to studying the law and developing legislative proposals, the committees publish educational materials and present programs about current trends in the law.
MoBar encourages all members to join a committee or section. You may join online (login required) or by completing the committee registration card that you receive each year. Most committees are open to all Bar members, but occasionally the Board of Governors creates special committees with appointed members.
Missouri Bar committees and sections meet twice a year. Committee Meetings feature an invigorating mix of committee work, substantive educational programming, and networking opportunities.
