Lawyers Elect Green and Smart to 31st Circuit Judicial Commission

On February 25, 2009, Greene County held its run-off election to decide the two elected Non-partisan Court Commission members. Brent D. Green won the election for the 2011 elective position. In the 2013 elective position, Clif Smart won. The terms for both positions expire on December 31st of their respective year. There were a total of 524 ballots cast in the 2011 race and 522 in the 2013 race. There were 6 ballots disqualified from both races.

The next regularly scheduled election will be held on November 5, 2011. In the event that a commission position becomes available prior to December 31, 2011, a special election will be held.
