Steve Sanders was and is a world record video game player. Noted for his role in the 2007 cult-classic documentary “The King of Kong” (rated 96% fresh by Rotten Tomatoes & the #2 Movie of 2007 – average of fans++critics’ votes), Sanders wrote the best-selling book “The Video Master’s Guide to Donkey Kong” in 1982 when he was a senior in high school. Having set the world-record on Pac-Man (arcade version) 6 months earlier, Sanders went on to become the team captain of the national video game team at age 18. At age 46 he reclaimed a world record on Joust (arcade, doubles) with his then-17-year-old son Isaiah. An M.Div. graduate of Midwestern Baptist Seminary, Sanders obtained his law degree from UMKC. After opening his own law firm in 2003, Sanders has focused his practice on catastrophic injury cases where bad faith insurance practices often become an issue.
