Roger Wallach, B.A., Harvard University ’79; J.D., Washington University School of Law ’91, is an AV rated sole practitioner who concentrates his legal practice around real estate, business and finance law. Starting as an associate at Lewis, Rice in downtown St. Louis, Roger’s first legal work was in banking law. Later, at Susman, Schermer, Rimmel & Shifrin, Roger broadened his practice to become a more general business, finance and real estate attorney. In the 90’s he was most involved in helping inventors and entrepreneurs find financing and build their business.

Since 2001, however, real estate law has grown to become the dominant part of his practice. Roger and his wife, Jan, also own a few properties which they rehabbed and now rent out. As an investor-owner himself, Roger is active in several real estate investor clubs in the metropolitan St. Louis area and has become a frequently sought-after legal counsel for many of the club members.

As a result of helping many of these small to midsize residential real estate investors, Roger, these past few years, has become experienced in handling many different types of residential real estate issues, from leases, easements, condominiums and property subdivision to such as might arise in short sales, tax lien sales, loan modifications, forbearance agreements and foreclosure.
