Erwin O. Switzer

Switzer, ErwinErwin O. Switzer is the General Counsel of Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C., in St. Louis, Missouri. He is the Co-Leader of the Appellate Practice and Constitutional Law groups at the Firm. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America in the categories of Appellate Practice and Government Relations and in Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers in Appellate Practice and Consumer Law. He serves on the Appellate Judicial Evaluation Committee established by the Missouri Supreme Court and has been the Co-Chair of the Appellate Practice Committee of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. He is the Editor of the State law chapter for the 2013 Update to the American Bar Association treatise entitled Consumer Protection Law Developments. Mr. Switzer has lectured and authored articles on appellate practice, consumer protection/trade regulation, and legal ethics. Mr. Switzer served as a Chief Counsel in the Missouri Attorney General’s Office from 1994 to 2005. He was appointed to the Board of Commissioners of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department in 2012. He graduated from St. Louis University Law School in 1981 and received his Bachelor’s degree from St. Louis University in 1978.
