Administrative Law Committee - Minutes for November 16, 2012

Introduction of Chair: Thad Taylor has administrative law experience with the Dept. Of Revenue, Dept. Of Social Services, and Dept. Of Mental Health. He currently is in private practice, with a focus on elder issues. 

Approval of Minutes: Minutes from Spring 2012 meeting read by Chair to committee. Motion to approve minutes made and seconded from floor. Passed by voice vote. 

Goals of committee and recruitment of subcommittees:
1) To continue to provide informative CLE's at Spring and Fall Committee Meetings;

2) Assemble subcommittees to help address issues related to administrative law for the the committee at large and to provide feedback to the Executive Committee and Board of Governors when needed. Volunteers are needed for the following: 1) Secretary; 2) CLE Planning Subcommittee; 3) Legislative Review Subcommittee; 4) Caselaw Update Subcommittee.
