HB 985 – Small Business Health Fairness Act of 2006. Requires the Department of Insurance to establish a procedure for the certification of various industry trade associations seeking to offer group health plans to their members.

HB 1101 – Health insurance benefits. (See Insurance Law)

HB 1130 – Professional fundraisers. Requires professional fundraisers to maintain certain records for a period of three years.

HB 1169 – Reservation of corporate names. Changes the time period within which corporate names can be reserved.

HB 1315 – Search Warrants. (See Criminal Law)

HB 1413 – Fairness for Missouri Business Act. Modifies various provisions regarding limited liability companies and limited liability partnerships.

HB 1427 – Reinstatement of dissolved corporation after military service. Provides for reinstatement following a corporation’s dissolution for failing to file an annual registration report due to military service.

HB 1434 – Provides for trademark registration. Requires the registration of a trademark to be filed with a signed statement that the registrant has a bona fide intention to use the mark in commerce or in connection with the goods or services listed in the application. Allows a single application for the registration of the same trademark for goods or services in multiple classes. Sets registration fee schedule.

SB 657 - Medicaid requirements. Requires applicants for Medicaid and CHIPs to identify the proposed beneficiary’s employer.

SB 671 – Public assistance requirements. Requires any applicant for health care benefits under a public assistance program to identify his or her employer.

SB 845 – Corporate administrative dissolution. Modifies fees and reinstatement processes in the event of corporate administrative dissolution.

SB 875 - Modifies requirements for corporate filings. Allows a corporation to change the filing month for its corporate registration report in return for an additional $20 filing fee. Allows corporations to opt to file the corporate registration report biennially rather than annually. Establishes procedures for biennial reporting. Allows a limited liability corporation to file its original articles of incorporation electronically, and reduces the fee when filing electronically.
