Rob Swearingen joined LSEM in 2007. He has worked as an assistant attorney general, public defender and as a consumer lawyer for the United Auto Workers Legal Services, where he managed two offices from 1991 to 2007. He is a staff attorney with the LSEM Consumer Unit where he focuses on consumer fraud, unfair and deceptive business practices, and debt collection law. Mr. Swearingen is a charter member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates. He received his J.D. in 1983 from the University of Missouri Law School, and his B.A. from the University of Missouri.
