Jim Martin

Martin, James G.Jim Martin, a former U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri, was a federal prosecutor for more than 20 years. He is now a partner with Armstrong Teasdale in St. Louis and a member of the firm’s Business Litigation practice group. He concentrates in the areas of white collar criminal defense, corporate governance and compliance and complex business litigation. Jim's spent his entire career as a prosecutor handling complex white collar criminal cases. Since entering private practice, Jim has represented numerous clients under investigation by federal prosecutors and the SEC in multiple jurisdictions around the country. Among his clients was the then Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under President George W. Bush for whom he successfully obtained a declination of prosecution from the DOJ Public Integrity Section.
