This Year’s Annual Meeting is Going Green

Going GreenThe Missouri Bar is taking initiatives to reduce our  “carbon footprint” at this year’s Annual Meeting  by not printing course materials for each CLE session.  Instead, we are making all course materials for every program available to every registered attendee who comes to the conference accessible before, during and after the conference. What this means:

  • All registered attendees will receive an email message by September 4 with a link to all of the course materials that have been submitted by presenters (as of August 27).
  • Any additional course materials that are received after August 27 will be added to this site.
  • Use the Annual Meeting app to access and download the course materials - before , during and after the conference.
  • Attendees can make copies of the materials for the sessions they plan to attend prior to coming to the Annual Meeting.
  • All attendees will receive a CD in their meeting packet containing all course materials received from presenters as of August 27)
  • Everyone who attended the meeting will receive an email with an updated link containing all course materials received for the conference following the Annual Meeting and have access to these materials for one full year!

A Few Revealing Fun Facts About the Positive Impact We Will Make by Going Green:

  •  1 tree makes 16.67 reams of copy paper or 8,333.3 sheets
  •  1 ream (500 sheets) uses 6% of a tree (and those add up quickly!
