YLS Council
The Young Lawyers' Section Council is the governing body of the Young Lawyers' Section. The council consists of the Chairperson, the Immediate Past Chairperson, the Board of Governors Delegate and 32 other council members elected from 14 districts.
There are five officers of the Council: Chairperson, Chairperson-Elect, Board of Governors Delegate, Secretary/Treasurer and Immediate Past Chairperson. The five officers and three at-large members, one from the St. Louis area, the Kansas City area and the remaining districts of the state form the Executive Committee. An ABA Young Lawyer Division Liaison also serves as an ex officio member of the Council by appointment of the Chairperson.
