Supreme Court Rule Changes
In an order dated November 5, 2003, the Supreme Court of Missouri repealed subdivision 69.02, entitled "Handbook of Information for Jurors," of Rule 69 (Trial by Jury) and in lieu thereof adopted a new subdivision 69.02, entitled "Handbook of Information for Jurors."
In the same order, the Court adopted a new subdivision 69.04, entitled "Juror Questions," of Rule 69 (Trial by Jury).
This order becomes effective July 1, 2004.

The Supreme Court of Missouri, in an order dated November 25, 2003 repealed subdivisions (5) and (6) of subdivision 2.03, Canon 3B, entitled "Adjudicative Responsibilities," of Rule 2 (Code of Judicial Conduct) and adopted a new subdivision (5) and a new subdivision (6) of subdivision 2.03, Canon 3B, entitled "Adjudicative Responsibilities."
In the same order, the Court adopted new subdivisions (e), (f), and (g), of subdivision 4-7.2 (Advertising) of Rule 4, entitled "Rules of Professional Conduct," and additional paragraphs to the Supplemental Missouri Comment thereto.
Additionally, the Court repealed subdivision (g) of subdivision 4-8.4 (Misconduct) of Rule 4, entitled "Rules of Professional Conduct," and adopted a new subdivision (g) of subdivision 4-8.4 (Misconduct).
Also in the order, the Court repealed subdivision (d) of subdivision 8.105, entitled "Limited Admission for In-House Counsel," of Rule 8 (Admission to the Bar) and in lieu thereof adopted a new subdivision (d) of subdivision 8.105, entitled "Limited Admission for In-House Counsel."
This order became effective January 1, 2004.

This order becomes effective July 1, 2004.

The Supreme Court of Missouri, in an order dated December 23, 2003, repealed subdivision 25.12 (Misdemeanors or Felonies - Deposition by Defendant - How Taken), subdivision 25.13 (Misdemeanors or Felonies - Deposition by Defendant - When Admissible), subdivision 25.14 (Misdemeanors or Felonies - Deposition by State - When and How Taken), subdivision 25.15 (Misdemeanors or Felonies - Deposition Offered by State - When Admissible), and subdivision 25.16 (Misdemeanors or Felonies - Sanctions) of Rule 25, entitled "Misdemeanors or Felonies - Disclosure and Depositions," and in lieu thereof adopted a new subdivision 25.12 (Misdemeanors or Felonies - Deposition by Defendant - How Taken), a new subdivision 25.13 (Misdemeanors or Felonies - Deposition Offered by Defendant - When Admissible), a new subdivision 25.14 (Misdemeanors or Felonies - Depositions by State to Preserve Testimony - When and How Taken), a new subdivision 25.15 (Misdemeanors Or Felonies - Discovery Depositions By State - When and How Taken), a new subdivision 25.16 (Misdemeanors or Felonies - Deposition Offered by State - When Admissible), a new subdivision 25.17 (Misdemeanors or Felonies - Costs of Depositions) and a new subdivision 25.18 (Misdemeanors or Felonies - Sanctions.)
In the same order, the Court repealed subdivision 30.04(g), entitled "Certification of the Record on Appeal, and subdivision 30.26, entitled "Motions for Rehearing," of Rule 30 (Appellate Procedure in All Criminal Cases," and adopted a new subdivision 30.04(g), entitled "Certification of the Record on Appeal," and a new subdivision 30.26, entitled "Post-dispositions Motions."
Additionally, the Court, in the same order, repealed Ruled 37, entitled "Statutory and Ordinance Violations and Violation Bureaus," consisting of subdivisions 37.01 to 37.75, inclusive, and adopted a new Rule 37, entitled "Ordinance Violations," consisting of subdivisions 37.01 to 37.75, inclusive.
In this order, the Court also repealed Rule 38 (Certain Statutory Violations and Violations Bureaus) consisting of subdivisions 38.01 to 38.15, inclusive, and in lieu thereof adopted a new Rule 38 (Certain Statutory Violations and Violations Bureaus) consisting of subdivisions 38.01 to 38.14, inclusive.
And finally, the Court, in this order, corrected subdivision 81.04(c) of Rule 81 and corrected subdivision 84.06(h) of Rule 84.
This order becomes effective July 1, 2004.
