Membership Information

Membership in the Missouri Bar Foundation is limited to members of The Missouri Bar in good standing, and is available in four membership categories:

  • Life members are those who became the original incorporators and paid the sum of $100.00, and those who are later admitted to life membership upon payment of a membership fee of $100.00.

  • Sustaining members are those who contribute an annual regular membership fee of at least $25.00 and less than $100.00.

  • Regular members are those who make an annual regular membership fee of at least $5.00 and less than $25.00.

  • Fellows of the Missouri Bar Foundation are members of The Missouri Bar in good standing who are dedicated to the law and the cause of justice, of high professional standing, and who are willing to share the financial rewards of their professional work for causes and purposes deemed worthy by the Foundation. Annual membership in the Fellows is limited to no more than one-half of 1% of the current membership of The Missouri Bar. Fellows must donate a minimum of $200 upon election and the balance in five consecutive, equal annual installments (a total of $1,000), any or all of which may be prepaid. The names of the Fellows of the Missouri Bar Foundation are permanently displayed at The Missouri Bar Center in Jefferson City.
