Selsor, RobertFor nearly two decades, Robert J. Selsor has volunteered for MoBarCLE.  He believes that CLE is important for Missouri lawyers to improve their abilities and stay current.  This belief has led Selsor to serve as a recurrent presenter for the Annual Estate and Trust Institute, the Annual Probate Institute, and the Estate, Trust and Elder Law Institute.  He has also authored a chapter in The Missouri Bar Estate Administration Deskbook, 4th Ed. (2008), The Missouri Bar Estate Administration Deskbook, 5th Ed. (2010), and the 2014 supplement of The Missouri Bar Estate Administration Deskbook.

He is based in the St. Louis office but his practice extends throughout the state and the Midwest. A former Fulbright Scholar, Selsor earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and his law degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He was a law clerk for the Honorable Stephen N. Limbaugh, Sr. on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri from 1986 to 1988. He is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and has chaired The Missouri Bar’s Committee on Fiduciary Litigation. Selsor’s practice focuses heavily on litigation matters involving probate, trust and fiduciary issues in both the state and federal courts. His experience includes numerous bench and jury trials in these areas as well as arbitrations and mediation.

When asked why he volunteers for MoBarCLE, he states, “It makes me a better attorney and I enjoy it.”  MoBarCLE is grateful for Selsor’s dedication to serve as a volunteer and to make a substantial contribution to the continuing legal education of Missouri attorneys.
