Supreme Court Rule Changes

In an order dated September 10, 2002, the Supreme Court of Missouri repealed Form 37.A, entitled "Uniform Complaint and Summons," and Form 37.B, entitled "Record of Conviction," and in lieu thereof adopted a new Form 37.A, entitled "Uniform Citation," and a new Form 37.B, entitled "Record of Conviction."

This order becomes effective January 1, 2003.

The Supreme Court of Missouri, in an order dated September 11, 2002, repealed subdivision 5.07 (Assistants – Location of Offices – Expenses) and subdivision 5.30 (Opinions and Regulations by Advisory Committee) of Rule 5, entitled "Complaints and Proceedings Thereon," and adopted a new subdivision 5.07 (Assistants – Location of Offices – Expenses) and a new subdivision 5.30 (Opinions and Regulations by Advisory Committee).

This order becomes effective January 1, 2003.

On September 17, 2002, the Supreme Court of Missouri ordered the repeal of Civil Procedure Form No. 14, entitled "Presumed Child Support Amount Calculation Worksheet," as well as directions for completion, comments for use, and assumptions, and in lieu thereof adopted a new Civil Procedure Form No. 14, entitled "Presumed Child Support Amount Calculation Worksheet," as well as directions for completion, comments for use, and assumptions.

This order becomes effective January 1, 2003.

In an order dated September 24, 2002, the Supreme Court of Missouri repealed subdivision 6.01(1), entitled "Current Fee," of Rule 6 (Annual Enrollment Statement) and adopted a new subdivision 6.01(1), entitled "Current Fee."

This order became effective November 1, 2002.

On November 13, 2002, the Supreme Court of Missouri ordered the repeal of subdivision 5.16 (Decision of Disciplinary Hearing Panel – Findings and Recommendations) of Rule 5, entitled "Complaints and Proceedings Thereon," and in lieu thereof adopted a new subdivision 5.16 (Decision of Disciplinary Hearing Panel – Findings and Recommendations).

This order became effective November 13, 2002.

The Supreme Court of Missouri, in an order dated November 26, 2002, adopted a new subdivision 5.105, entitled "Diversion," and a new subdivision 5.225, entitled "Probation," of Rule 5 (Complaints and Proceedings Thereon).

This order becomes effective January 1, 2003.

In an order dated November 26, 2002, the Supreme Court of Missouri repealed subdivision 6.01(l), entitled "Current Fee," of subdivision 6.01 (Annual Enrollment Fee and Statement – Exemptions – Penalties) and repealed subdivision (a) of subdivision 6.07, entitled "Disposition of Inactive and Enrollment Fees," of Rule 6 (Annual Enrollment Statement) and adopted a new subdivision 6.01(l), entitled "Current Fee," a new subdivision 6.01(m), entitled "Pro Hac Vice Fee," of subdivision 6.01 (Annual Enrollment Fee and Statement – Exemptions – Penalties – Pro Hac Vice Fee) and a new subdivision (a) of subdivision 6.07, entitled "Disposition Fees," of Rule 6 (Fees to Practice Law).

The sections regarding subdivision 6.01(l) and 6.07(a) became effective December 1, 2002. The section regarding subdivison 601(m) becomes effective January 1, 2003.

In the same order, the Supreme Court of Missouri repealed subdivision 9.03 (Visiting Attorney Appearing in a Particular Case) of Rule 9, entitled "Practice by Nonresident Attorneys," and in lieu thereof adopted a new subdivision 9.03 (Visiting Attorney Appearing in a Particular Case."

This section becomes effective January 1, 2003.
