HB 975 – Driver’s license. Prohibits a person less than eighteen years of age from obtaining a driver’s license without first completing a formal driver’s education course.
HB 982 – Disciplinary actions against nurses. Changes the laws regarding disciplinary action taken against licensed nurses. Requires exhaustion of all rights under any existing grievance and arbitration procedure before a final disciplinary action shall be deemed final.

HB 1028 – County financial statements. Changes certain provisions relating to county financial statements.
HB 1050 – Driver’s License. Prohibits issuance of intermediate licenses to anyone under 16 years of age who is convicted of purchase or possession of alcohol.

HB 1240 – Review of agency decisions. Allows a person to petition the circuit court for a trial de novo as an alternative to seeking judicial review of an agency decision.

HJR 29 – Relates to Highways and Transportation Commission. Proposes a constitutional amendment removing the authority of the Highways and Transportation Commission.

SB 559 – Definition of person as it applies to joint municipal utility commission. (See Local Government Law)
SB 606 – Driver’s license suspension. Establishes administrative procedure to suspend driver’s licenses and motor vehicle registrations for failing to pay towing charges.
SB 624 - Modifies the law relating to ombudsman volunteers. (See Health and Hospital Law)
SB 664 – Adopts the Nurse Licensure Compact. (See Health and Hospital Law)
SB 689 – Lobbyist reporting. Modifies lobbyist reporting requirements and campaign finance disclosure for public officials.
SB 690 – Child abuse investigations. (See Criminal Law)
SB 695 – Lieutenant governor vacancies. Removes the governor’s authority to appoint the lieutenant governor upon a vacancy.
SB 710 – Complaints against licensed nurses. (See Health and Hospital Law)
SB 734 – Public Employee Due Process Act. (See Labor and Employment Law)
SB 735 – Modifies procedures for filing documents with the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission. Allows private dispatching services to send applications for review or appeal to the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission regarding decisions on claims for workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, tort victims’ compensation, and crime victims’ compensation. If the last day for filing such papers falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, the filing is deemed timely if accomplished on the next day, which is not a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday. Applications for review or appeal may also be made by electronic facsimile, as long as original copies of any required papers are mailed the same day as the facsimile is received by the commission.
SB 748 - Relating to state employee retirement incentives. Provides temporary retirement and medical incentives for active employees currently eligible to retire under the Missouri State Employee’s Retirement System (MOSERS). Provides that employees currently eligible to retire will receive medical coverage at the active employee rate, which will then revert to the regular retiree rate after five years or when the retiree becomes eligible for Medicare, whichever occurs first. Limits all of the vacated positions to a twenty-five percent rehire limitation, with exceptions for critical, seasonal, or federally-funded positions.
This act has an emergency clause.
SB 846 - Natural gas safety standards. Sets the maximum penalty for violating any Public Service Commission order relating to federal natural gas safety standards.
