We ask your assistance in correcting a mistake in the annual report of the Chief Disciplinary Counsel for the year 2004 that was published on page 266 of the September-October 2005 issue of the Journal of The Missouri Bar. The mistake was not yours, but ours.

In the section entitled “Disciplinary Actions Before the Court,” the matter involving Candace Bante included the words “Default disbarment 12-12-01.”

Ms. Bante never has been disbarred and had no disciplinary action before the Court in 2001. The Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel apologizes for the inadvertent error.
