One of the Missouri Bar’s largest and most active sections, the Family Law Section works to improve the legal system on behalf of families.

Specifically, the section studies and considers all substantive laws of state and federal jurisdictions concerning the family, juveniles, divorce, maintenance, adoption, and other related laws.

Recommendations for changes in the common or statutory law are submitted to The Board of Governors of The Missouri Bar for their approval.

Resources available through the Family Law Section include a 30-minute video about the divorce process for clients and an archive of newsletters on topics relating to family law.
