HB 973 – Prohibits withholding or withdrawal of nutrition or hydration for a patient. (See Health and Hospital Law)

HB 986 – Medicare part D gap coverage. Establishes the Missouri Senior Prescription Drug Plan to provide Medicare Part D gap coverage for the elderly.

HB 1212 – Protections against financial exploitation of the elderly and disabled. Expands protection for the elderly against financial exploitation and codifies a presumption of undue influence in any transfer of real property or major transfer of personal property for less than full consideration to another person with whom the elderly or disabled person has a confidential or fiduciary relationship. The presumption of undue influence may be overcome when the elderly person is represented by independent counsel. Confidential or fiduciary relationships can include relationships between the elderly or disabled person and a family member by blood or marriage, a health care provider, a trustee, an accountant, a friend, a neighbor, a spiritual advisor, or an attorney.

SB 624 - Modifies the law relating to ombudsman volunteers. (See Health and Hospital Law)
